Skiing & snowboarding, ski touring or freeriding?
In winter, the Montafon offers 297 kilometres of pistes in 5 varied ski areas, which can be reached by 74 cable cars and lifts. The perfectly groomed pistes guarantee skiers and snowboarders an unforgettable winter holiday. For ski tourers, there are a variety of different tours and routes that guarantee a strenuous ascent and unique descents. But the Montafon also offers high alpine powder slopes and varied terrain for those who prefer to go off-piste – perfect for freeriders.

Winter hiking, tobogganing and cross-country skiing are also possible in the Montafon
For all those who prefer to enjoy the Montafon winter landscape in a more relaxed way, the Montafon offers a variety of natural toboggan runs – from family fun to night tobogganing. Cross-country skiers also get their money’s worth on 33 different trails.
Winter hikers – or anyone who wants to become one – can enjoy the peace and quiet and the snow-covered winter landscapes on foot along a total of 290 kilometres.
The ice disco, which takes place once a week in winter on the covered ice rink, is a highlight for children.
